Its time to dust down that trusty blade, apply liberally with linseed oil (and electricians tape), rub on ralgex/deep heat and prepare for battle (you can almost hear Chris Harrison's first injury). Yes, that's right fellow gladiators, the new season is fast approaching and the Sage Cricket Club is delighted to make the following announcements:-
Winter nets start at 11.00 am, Sunday 28th January 2007, at Percy Main CC. The next session takes place at 7.00 p.m., Monday 29th January 2007, at Percy Main CC. Subsequent net sessions will take place every Sunday and Monday, at the same times, until the start of the season. Each session will generally last for 2 hours. As we use a high quality, one lane indoor net, places are limited. We have a full kit bag (and cricket balls) for all to use. Each session costs £1 per person. Congratulations to the following people, who have been unanimously elected to the club management team - David Moodie (captain), Chris Harrison (manager), Andrew Beer (vice captain), Tim Whittles (management team member) and Michael Sherman (management team member). Our thanks go to retiring management team member Mick Foster for all of his help and assistance during the 2006 promotion campaign. We look forward to seeing him at nets, fighting for the title.
