Andy Beer
Our leader........a pugnacious batsman, who, tough as teak, throws everything into his stroke play, No playing for averages with this gutsy cricketer, as he takes the bowlers on, with a Sage flag draped around his shoulders.
Beer by name beer by nature, with fag in one hand, pint in the other, the Corinthian spirit is alive. A raw quick bowler causing problems with pace and variety and the odd surprising straight one.
Sadly, has bought a place with his missus........rip

A cricketer who leaves everything on the field, including furrows from his acrobat fielding manoeuvres. Often endangering his colleagues ankles on his flying visits in field.

Mick Foster
One of the most professional hamstring injuries ever seen deprived the cricket world of one of the players of a generation. The original Brylcream boy, Foster, was often seen out on the town with old pal Compton, earning the sobriquet 'the terrible twins'.
In those carefree days immediately after the war, they symbolised the feelings of the nation. In that glorious season of '46, he delighted with an average over 50 in the championship, until injury struck. Responding to the baby boom era, he became career aspirational taking a high-powered role in the City.
Dominating the business world with a 'can do' attitude and not suffering fools lightly, he was often seen, cigarette holder in mouth, in his Bavarian speedster, dashing to the next power meeting. Prudhoe mourns his passing.

Tim Whittles
A tough Pollock like batsman and bowler. On the batting front he has a sweep to die for. In fact, that may just happen if he keeps playing it off good length balls. On the bowling side, things become a little more intriguing with away swing and lateral movement. Deservedly won last years fielder of the year award.
