Craig Thompson
Craig is a tall, spiky haired chap who we have borrowed for the 2011 Midweek season from Ryton CC - known as a good right arm seamer and a straight hitter of a cricket ball we look forward to seeing what he can do.

David Reynolds
Our midweek skipper - Dave’s another one who has played for Belmont since he was a young ‘un and has now broken through to establish himself as a first team regular. This is after winning a cupboard full of trophies and awards for his classy batting in the second team. We actually enjoy watching David bat. Odd that isn’t it? Again, apparently, David’s dad has something to do with the club!

John Halliday
A sound opener for the seconds for a few years, John’s now looking to establish himself in the first team’s batting line-up. Another good runner between the wickets and he’ll tell you he bowls a mean leg-spinner. John has been known to enjoy being wicket keeper too.

Kevin Kerr
Top order batsman and very handy bowler - also the owner of club dogs Kai and Fudge. New dad so expect to see even more of him in 2013!

Matty Johnson
Came to BCC from Burnhope in 2012, aggressive left handed batsmen that has scored umpteen runs against us - sharp net bowler and certain to do well for BCC and Belmonte in 2013. Welcome Matty!

Paul Newton
Newt’s an aggressive stroke-player who rattles the score along with some well-timed drives and is also a more than useful bowler. He also has hands like buckets (not real buckets) and will catch anything that’s thrown at him, particularly cricket balls.

Saleh Ahmed
New recruit to the land of BCC and Belmonte CC - we await to see what he brings.
|

|
 |
Shah Ahmed
Joined Belmonte in 2011, joined Belmont in 2013 and brought Saleh along with him. Entertaining and spontaneous!

Steve Garland
Steven joined Belmont in 2006 after years away from the game (fool) and an early stint at Chilton Moor (RIP). He’s a steady opening bowler for the seconds who was leading wicket taker in 2007 and 2009. Has dragged his non-existent batting up to being just about passable.
New 2nd team captain for 2010.

Stuart Whitfield
First team keeper, very decent bat.... very sweaty man.

Tony Reynolds
A Belmont player for almost 30 years with over 6000 first team runs to his name, Tony’s gritty knocks are the stuff of folklore. One of the people to have kept the club going during the mass exodus of the late 1980s. Now playing for the seconds, his enthusiasm for the game and commitment to the club is second to none.
