Sad News from West End

West End’s Secretary for many years, Daud Mahmood has passed away. The Management Committee express sadness at this news and offer sympathy to all his family and friends.

The sad news was received this afternoon from Hassan Khaleel.

It’s with a heavy heart that I have to inform you that our long serving secretary and playing member of West End Cricket Club, Daud Mahmood (daud@ariston-accountants.co.uk) has sadly passed away today.
He was an outstanding member of the club who gave his all to the cricketing cause throughout the years, and without his input West End would not be in the position it is in today. We thank and praise him for all the effort he has put into this team and into his family at West End Cricket Club.

He was much appreciated by his fellow brothers at West End and will sadly be missed.

Eelam Boys have been informed that West End's game on Thursday 28th July has been postponed due to Daud's funeral, and we have agreed to re-arrange this fixture.
