After last nights agonising defeat against three tuns, the captain has urged his players to learn there lessons from this match,"Even though it was a friendly match, the defeat and the manner of it has still hurt my team.I thought we had a very good score on the board thanks to Arsalan and Sonu, and batting second was not going to be easy. However, they got some impetus early in there run chase and from there it was always difficult to stop the flow of runs. Our bowling was not great, we bowled both sides of the wicket, and if you do that against quality opposition then you get punished, its as simple as that. The biggest let down for me though was the fielding, it was below par and we easily gave 25 plus runs away. You must be good in ALL departments in the game which is batting, bowling and fielding. If you are lacking in even one department, you easily get found out and its difficult to win games. All credit to three tuns, they played very well and took advantage.I hope my team will learn there lesson, and in future do better in these situations".
Nevertheless, Khan was delighted with the work out and looked forward to High Stables on Sunday,"It was very good in terms of nearly everyone getting a workout, they would have benefited from it.We have high stables on sunday in a 30 over match and we are looking forward to that too.By the end of these two games we would have been well prepared for our crunch game against Sparta".
