Genetics got back into their winning ways in the league with an impressive win at Seaton Burn. Bowling first, Chris Mee had the opposition reeling at 3 for 9, (all bowled), but Don Farquar and D. smart retrieved the situation somewhat for the Travellers before Allie Douglas stepped in with 4 quick wickets. However, the Travellers still managed to score 108 for 7 off their 16 overs. In reply, Genetics were in trouble with the removal of Steve Kent for a duck (lbw surprise surprise), and then 3 more wickets fell quickly, until Jon Robinson(43) and Jonty Tarbuck(15) stepped to the wicket. They put on an unbeaten 58 runs partnership, which saw Genetics home with plenty of overs to spare.
