After the match being called off this week due to rain, the captain has spoke about the disappointment of not having a game,"its hugely disappointing because by the time our next game comes along against Belmont, it will be two weeks since our last game. The boys were really up for it, after our magnificent victory over Black Widows, but you cant really control the weather. Its nature, and is in the hands of the almighty".
The captain also looked forward to the forthcoming match against Belmot next Wednesday,"It should be another good game like the last one we played against them. They are a good, and organised team who play to there strengths.I think they have won two of there 5 games so know what it feels like to win.We must guard against complacency and I am certainly looking for my batsman to perform a lot better aganist them as opposed to the last time we played against them.We lost wickets to really silly shots, so I will be reminding them about this before they go out.I am looking for partneships between my batsman. So far this season we have always relied on a 'bit of brilliance'from somebody to win us the game. They must learn how to bat together such as bowlers bowl together as a partnership.I have great talent and faith in my batsman, and if I can get them to think about the game a little more, and analyse there own performance, then maybe they will understand the game and play with responsibility.Batting is a very difficult art, you must learn all the nitty gritty stuff, to be successful.Bowlers, will tell whos a thinking batsman and whos not straight away.Thats why I want my batsman to realise and understand match situations without anybody needing to tell them. They are very young, and hopefully they will learn this and be better in the future".
Khan also spoke about the need to get maximum points,"Sparta dropped a point last week so that was good news for us.We keep on winning well and ultimately it puts huge pressure on them to win convincingly. It will all go down to that game, but we must focus and do our job professionaly.I believe we will do well next week, even though we are missing key players. As long as they give me 100% then I can have no complaints".

The captain has today spoke in a candid interview about the nailbiting win over Black Widows last night."It was the best match of the season so far, it was very even through out and they also edged it at times but we had a never say die attitude.Emotions were running very high and both sets of players made it a truly amazing spectacle".
Ratty later payed a glowing tribute to Sonu and James for there contribution in the win,"the innings of Sonu is the best I have seen for a very long time.He carried the bulk of the batting, and played so sensibly. He never played a bad shots and even when wickets were tumbling around him, he kept his nerve and just played accordingly.I have great faith in his batting, he is a great player and has been threatening to do this for a while. In this instance, he went on to get a big one and it proved to be the match winning innings.I am so pleased for him, hes a great player and person to have in our team.James was also brillant, his innings of 15 won us the match, he finished it off and played some brillant shots. He was very cool and calm, and showed he has got talent with the bat as well.Lets not forget the bowling efforts from Arsalan, Gulam and Asman. The latter two especially bowled economically towards the end and it gave us a target we could chase.I felt it was a par score, and was chaseable easily if we played sensibly. The lads were told that and they delivered.Overall, it was a great effort from the boys to pull off the victory and it shows how much they care and how much winning means to them. They were courageous and stepped up to the mark and I have nothing but praise for all of them".

However, step up one of the remaining key batsman left in the name of Sonu. He played a majestic and match winning innings of 76 at a maginificent scoring rate.Shots were played all around the wicket, and it were pure timing and elegance.Sonu perished along with Asman with the score on 118/9 in the 13th over, and the match still in the balance. Then entered James, who played a brilliant knock off 15 not out and was well supported by last batsman Adeel.Oceans got home in a one wicket win in a truly amazing match which could have gone either way.
