The captain today was in a philosophical mood after the heartbreaking loss against Hylton last night,"I really can't explain in words what has happened. We only have got ourselves to blame because we never turned up.We lost it with our batting, and you will never win games at any level when your 9/3 early on.It was such a shame to have that collapse in our final game as I feel we have batted tremendously throughout the season. However, the boys should not be too downbeat because we have had a great season and progressed a lot. They can be very proud off there efforts, and should be happy by the fact that we have won promotion".
The captain finally said all was not lost as Sparta have one tricky game against Black Widows to negotiate,"That is a game that could possibly save us.They are a dangerous team and nearly had the beating of us twice.Sparta will be glad that it is in their hands, and I am sure they would not want it any other way. However, whatever happens will happen for the best. All we could do is just wait and see what happens.I am sure this result will give them great motivation to win their final two games".

After an easy win over Park House, the captain gave his views on the game straight after the game,"It was an excellent toss to win and I had no hesitate but to bat first. Our batsman did a terrific job in getting us to a huge total and this enabled me to rotate my bowlers around and share the workload out.Credit must be given to A,Rahim and Sonu bhai for the part they played in our score. They were two completely different knocks and both players are very confident at the moment and are looking at there imperious best.Sonu was especially magnificent considering he was carrying an injury throughout, and played according to the situation.U.Aziz also gave us a real cameo towards the end to.My bowlers also did a great job.I told them to be consistent with there lines and they duly obliged. We were deserving of more wickets but to be honest I think Park House were more or else trying to survive then score runs against us.It was an excellent allround performance and I am so happy for them"
Khan now has urged his team to complete the job next week away to Hylton,"We have one step remaining to complete our goal.Regardless of what Sparta do this week, I want us to finish on a high and win the league emphatically. We are nearly there, and once we get over that line is when we can celebrate. There are a lot of happy faces in our dressing room at the moment and they fully deserve to be applauded for there efforts they have put in this season. They are a really special group of players I have at my disposal, and I have nothing but praise for everyone of them including the ones that were not selected today".
