The captain spoke after the demolition job done by his team against Paddlers, 'I thought it was a fantastic performance by the team. To do that to a team that has come down from the 2nd division is a brilliant effort'.
'Taking into account we were missing, Arsalan, Wally and Umjad today, this was a fantastic victory. The bowlers were superb for and set the match up for them. They bowled nice channels and I made them aware of the dangers of bowling down the leg side'.
Ratty later on went to praise Usman and Rian in the manner they achieved the runs. 'Their score was defintely below par. But our two guys played some beautiful shots along with some big shots and it was a a delight to watch. We never let them settle early and kept scoring at 10 over throughout. It was a class partnership and put the icing on the cake'.
Khan has now turned his attentions to Sage, 'I don't know anything about them really. They must be a good team and my boys will have to work very hard to get a positive result. We will have Arsalan back for that one so that further strengthens us'. It should be a good game!

After having been confirmed as champions , the skipper today spoke of the glowingly about the immense pride he feels,'It's been a terrific season for us. Each and every individual has played their part in our success and they have been magnifcent throughout. We have had special performances throughout the season and somebody has always stood up when it is needed the most. We have had more ups then downs this season and hence why we are champions. We only have been defeated twice this season and that is a magnificent achievement.
Khan later said that his team eyed up the 'big games' against three tuns and st cuthberts as the ones we need to win.'I told my boys and they knew that these two teams were our main challengers. Before we played against them I let them know the importance of the game. We beat them both twice this season and that for me was crucial in us winning. We were very professional in our approach and I was delighted in the manner in which we approached each and every game.
Khan also said that he would have been disappointed to have not got promoted this season,'Our main aim was to get promotion.Top spot was a bonus but promotion was key.We have a group of lads that are very talented and want to improve.I feel the second and third division is where this team belongs. Its going to be tough next year but Im going to look to strengthen the team further. There are a few areas that we need to toughen up on and I will be looking to bring in atleast one if not two more players. If we get these players in then I dont see any reason why we can't have another successful year next year. The aim is to keep on progressing and playing positive cricket.I always ask my team to give their all and try their best. They always give me their all and thats why they are such a joy to work with.
Khan confirmed that his team are looking forward to the end of the season meeting and then dinner,'Most of the boys will be turning up to the meeting. They were their last year and will be again this year.We are looking forward to it again and lifting the trophy will be great.I hope next year will be another exciting year for my team and we will be looking forward to it.

The captain has spoken after this weeks nailbiting win over Fenham Hall. 'We felt a lot of pressure going into this match because we knew that Three tuns had won their game and if we had any aspirations of finishing top then this was a 'must win' game. However, I knew it was a pressure cooker game for them too because if they wanted to keep their chances of promotion open then they had to win also.
I thought our batting was real patchy. We needed someone to get a 30 or 40 and then this would have enabled us to get up to around 130 to 140 which I would have felt comfortable with.It didnt help by the fact that Arsalan had to go off and then come on the end. However, luckily for us he did because them two sixes at the end proved to be crucial. Khan later payed a glowing contribution to Rian who produced a match winning display with some accurate swing bowling,'It was crucial that someone stepped up.He was very condfident and said to me give me the ball I will make it happen.I had confidence in him because he really is a top performer and an experienced player.I also must pay credit to Javed whp supported him admirably from the other end.Their overs won us the game really but we were taken right down to the wire.
Oceans now look set to seal promotion if they win their final game against Merz,'I have told my boys that if we win then it dont matter what three tuns do.We deserve to finish as champions because we have played the best cricket this season.there will be no slip up in our final game and I will send out a very strong team on the day.We have worked very hard to get into this position and we have one more obstacle to cross.Inshallah, we will be victorious come 8pm on Monday.
