This Wednesday Night

(Posted On Mon 5 July, 2021)

All teams are aware of the rare and exceptional situation with England playing on Wednesday night in the Euro20 semi-final.

Resulting from this situation the Management Committee have agreed to a request which was lodged.

Thus any as yet unconfirmed games (or where there is no financial liability) due to take place on Wednesday 7th July can be rearranged as a special one off situation.

There is no pressure to rearrange the game for another night this scheduled week and the game may be postponed up until the season's final week if so necessary.

High Stables have Resigned

(Posted On Wed 23 June, 2021)

Sadly High Stables have resigned at this stage of the season owing to a significant drop in player numbers. They have been members since 2006. Their League record for this season has been expunged and all points gained in their League matches by opponents have been deducted. The revised tables include the two results received so far this week, see below.

In the Plate, Kirkley progress with a bye to the quarter finals and are drawn away to Cramlington.

Ian Dowson and Michael Hughes are thanked for their best efforts to keep Stables going up to this point. Michael will continue enthusiastically as Div 1 Officer.
