League Fixtures and Club Particuars updated

Following delays awaiting confirmations, data and fees from some teams we can now release the fixtures. These are not yet uploaded to play-cricket but the MC are progressing the transfer with Graeme Langlands sharing a lead role..

Changes to club particulars for the Handbooks can be accepted during the next week or so.

The Optimum Sports HUNDRED Cup draw will be made at the Handbooks Meeting on 27th March.

Minutes of AGM

Please find attached Minutes.

Four clubs still have not paid their increased Registration Fees of £90 and fines for absence at the AGM require to be settled.

Please ensure that play-cricket is updated with the correct name of the team and the ground which will be used for home fixtures as this is important for setting the fixtures.

If there are any clubs who have changed their names they can contact the play-cricket helpdesk to arrange for any updates to be made - Play.Cricket@ecb.co.uk

Updated Agenda for AGM 27th January

Please find an updated Agenda.
Belmont have resigned and will be playing in a Durham League.
Ponteland United and SSBCC have confirmed they are applying to join.
Peter Woodley has volunteered for election as Div 4 Cfficer in addition to umpiring co-ordinator.

Registration Forms and fees are required before or at the AGM.

Please read carefully and be ready to consider the Management Committee Proposals for the 2026 season, in particular the adoption of the HUNDRED for the Cup and Plate Competitions.

Club NCB and ECB Affiliation

Further to NEMWCL Registration and League affiliation to the ECB via the NCB, clubs are also required to complete an affiliation via NCB or DCB. This mainly concerns our 'nomadic' clubs as clubs registered with other leagues will already be completing their club affiliation. A small fee is still to be announced for 2026 but there are benefits such as the access to play-cricket, some insurance cover and ECB support. See attachments.

Registration Forms for 2026

Registration for the 2026 season is now open. All clubs must complete a Registration Form and populate all the categories for their officials.

The play-cricket contact must also be registered on the NEMWCL.play-cricket website.

Fees are held at 80 GBP. Forms and fees required before or at the AGM on 27th January. Note the account name NEMWCLEAGUE is rejected by some banks so we have to use the Treasurer's name D Catley.
