Agenda for AGM 27th January

Club NCB and ECB Affiliation

Further to NEMWCL Registration and League affiliation to the ECB via the NCB, clubs are also required to complete an affiliation via NCB or DCB. This mainly concerns our 'nomadic' clubs as clubs registered with other leagues will already be completing their club affiliation. A small fee is still to be announced for 2026 but there are benefits such as the access to play-cricket, some insurance cover and ECB support. See attachments.

Some Safeguarding courses for Club SO qualification are announced.

Registration Forms for 2026

Registration for the 2026 season is now open. All clubs must complete a Registration Form and populate all the categories for their officials.

The play-cricket contact must also be registered on the NEMWCL.play-cricket website.

Fees are held at 80 GBP. Forms and fees required before or at the AGM on 27th January. Note the account name NEMWCLEAGUE is rejected by some banks so we have to use the Treasurer's name D Catley.

Minutes of Management Commitee Meeting

Please download and study the minutes.

Note especially the MC recommendation to play the 2026 cup and plate matches in the HUNDRED format. This suggestion and other recommended changes will be voted on at the AGM.

Registration Forms will be issued towards the end of December to be submitted before or at the AGM on 27th January at Blue Flames, Benton.

A pre-season online scorers' course for digital recording is being arranged.
