Only a few fixtures survived a poor week of weather. One key game was abandoned.
Please be sure to keep your opponents and Divisional Officer well informed of dates and rearrangements. No belated pleas for default points will be entertained! Cup and Plate dates should now be fixed and Fred Wiles well informed.

Finals Day for the Just Sport Cup and Paddlers Plate will now be held on Sunday 23rd August at Jesmond. Details are being arranged.

Played today at Bates Cottages, the Northumberland League retained the Duke of Northumberland Cup. They scored 289-7 after electing to bat. S Gibson hit 45, Sean Collins 63 and L Hindmarsh 62 not out with Jaswinder Singh taking 3-56 off his 8 overs.
In reply the President's XI started well with 73 from opener James Davidson and 32 from Singh. This was backed up with 44 from Anthony Quarrell but the challengers fell short at 216 all out in the 36th over of 40. Ross Symington claimed 4-48.
