Cup final: Sunday August 20th at Swallwell CC, wickets pitched at 1:30 pm

Howe Partnership Cup Final got underway at Swalwell, despite a rain interuption.

Beamish and East Tanfield 135-9 off 22 eight ball overs. Ryan McVittie 41.

Stocksfield 139-9 won in last over thanks to a last wicket stand of 30 ish by Man of the Match G 'Emerson' Brown 43 not out and S Richardson 10 not out and with rain holding off until the presentations were underway!.

Thanks to Bill and the groundstaff team at Swalwell; Tommy for the teas; the umpires and scorer; Alec Dodds for his great organisation and arrangements.

The Beamish banter and sound show kept the large crowd entertained but Stocksfield had the final shout with only 5 balls remaining.
